If your Cat Loves Dry Food
Consider crumbling a bit of Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet onto kibble meals. Add warm water very slowly, in small amounts, to each meal as you increase the freeze-dried food and decrease the kibble.
Kibble, freeze-dried, and dehydrated products are dry, with little to no moisture. Because of the importance of moisture in your pet’s diet, don’t forget to rehydrate with water or Pet Holistic Goat Milk when possible
If your Cat Loves Moist Food
Consider crumbling a bit of Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet onto your cats canned food. add warm water very slowly, in small amounts but more than a dry food loving cat would like, to each meal as you increase the freeze-dried food and decrease the canned food. Take it as slowly as necessary to meet your cat’s preferences.

Day 1-3
Mix any of our Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet formula into your cat’s current food at a ratio that your cat will tolerate. You can start this with as little as 1/4 Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet Formula to as much as 3/4 of your pet’s current food.

Day 4-6
If your cat accepts the raw food during days 1-3, increase the amount of raw food to ½ Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet Formula and ½ current food for each meal.
If your cat is experiencing any gastrointestinal distress during the transition, try adding 1 tablespoon of Pet Holistic Goat Milk Powder

Day 7-9
For days 7-9, continue to increase the amount of raw food to 3/4 Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Diet Formula and 1/4 current food for each meal.

Congratulations on adding Pet Holistic Freeze Dried RAW Formula to your cat’s diet. You should now notice smaller stools with less odor. Don’t forget to vary the proteins for your pet once you’re sure that they have successfully transitioned. It’s important to provide variety and rotation for optimal health.
START SLOWLY
Remember the three T’s: texture, temperature, and taste are important to your kitty. And with premium whole food ingredients, Pet Holistic has the taste covered. A cat transition to raw can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days based on your cat’s age and preferences.
If you’re still offering some of their original canned or dry foods, now is the time to drop it! Begin feeding a full meal of Pet Holistic twice daily. Don’t worry about grazing throughout the day–cats aren’t meant to graze. Feeding two meals a day is healthier for their body and mind.
